Exercise RED STORM
This is a advanced scenario exercise with focus on Air-to-Air and Air-to-Ground operations. Scenario is a classic war scenario, BLUE vs RED.
BLUE is controlling the western area, with RED areas beeing EAST and NORTH (Khasab). Combat operations is taking place on the flot between red and blue territory

Situation
General situaton
BLUE and RED have been at war for a week after REDs initial attack against BLUE. The situation have stabilized and BLUE is preparing for a counteroffensive.
Prior to this BLUE will conduct several strikes to set conditions for BLUE offensive.
Last night RED have recived reinforcements and are preparing their own ground offensive.
Friendly situation
Friendly battalions are lined up in defensive positions along the FLOT. These units consist of primary motorized infantry, with some armor and mechanized infantry in reserve. JTAC WARRIOR is located IVO a small friendly outpost to take up the fight against the enemy attack we are expecting to spear their ground offensive. JTAC Warrior is part of a Recon company in static position in the outpost. Friendly forces are enroute to reinforce the FOB and strengthen the defenses. Friendlies can either arrive from the NORTH or SOUTH of JTAC WARRIORs location. Friendly units are western units.
Enemy situation - Air
RED FORCE have 3 FW squadrons doing both A-A and A-G missions. In addition, RED FORCE have AWACS (E-2) and a couple of tankers (KC-135, KC-135 MPRS and S-3 Viking)
- Squadron 1: F-14B
- Squadron 2: F/A-18C
- Squadron 3: F-16C
Squadron 1 and 2 rotates between shore-based and on a Carrier in the ocean out EAST.
RED FORCE are using the following airbases:
- Fujairah
- Ras Al Khaimah
- Khasab
RED FORCE normal way of operating is having one flight on CAP over own territory, supported by one flight on ground alert on one of the airbases, or on the carrier.

Enemy situation - Ground
A enemy mechanized infantry regiment is located at HATTA, and is expected to commence their offensive against friendly lines at JTAC WARRIOR location. Enemy units are eastern units.
